Upcoming Roadworks and Temporary Traffic Changes
Dear Neighbour,
We would like to let you know about upcoming roadworks on and around Osbourne Road as part of the Acton Gardens development. These works are necessary to improve and resurface the road.
The works will take place between 20 July and 28 August 2026 and will be carried out in phases. During this time, there will be some temporary changes to access and traffic arrangements.
What to expect:
- 20 July – 10 August 2026
There will be no access via Osbourne Road due to road excavation and resurfacing works.
- 29 July – 10 August 2026
Residents near Hanbury Road and Rosenburg Road (including access to the car park between the flats) may experience single-lane traffic on Osbourne Road.
Temporary traffic management will be in place to help vehicles enter and exit, but some delays are likely.
- 10 August – 28 August 2026
Traffic diversions and a temporary one-way system will be introduced to Hanbury road, including around the Caine House area.
Additional information:
- Access will be maintained where possible, but some disruption is unavoidable while these essential works are completed.
- Traffic management measures will be in place throughout to help minimise disruption and ensure safety please see map below.
