Artyface (Maud Milton) at Acton Garden's Summer Event
Come and make your mark in Acton!
Maud Milton (Artyface) will join our 'People of Acton Gardens' Summer Event to hold a tiling workshop.
These tiles will be fired, glazed, and assembled into 3 gorgeous ceramic mosaic roundels for ACTON CENTRAL and SOUTH ACTON - celebrating the Mildmay line and history of this community.
From 2-4pm on the 23rd August, join the drop in sessions making a clay tile. It is super easy – relax and have fun!

Your patterns and impressions can be of whatever you like, even precious things!
Examples of items that work well:
- Pen lids
- shells
- rubber stamps
- Wooden mehndi stamps
- pin broaches
- buttons with textures
- lego
- coins
- keys
- an odd earring /jewellery/chain
- fabric like lace rolled onto the clay
But don’t worry, but Maud will have lots of tools to be used.
