Lockdown Goody bags for South Acton and Acton Gardens residents

In September, Acton Gardens delivered goody bags to young children and sheltered accommodation residents across the estate.

The goody bags contained a range of gifts including activity packs, face masks, sweets, bubble wands, mugs, biscuits, jams, tea bags and sunglasses.

This initiative by Acton Gardens was appreciated and enjoyed by residents who received them as it has been a difficult time for many due to the recent lockdown restrictions.

The gift bags for young children were distributed from Bollo Brook Youth Centre with the support of Ali Abdullahi and Acton Youth Association. Their support on this initiative was appreciated and we hope the young children enjoyed all the items that were included in the gift bags.

Afternoon tea gift bags for sheltered accommodation residents were delivered to their front door with the help of Ealing Council’s caretaker service. Some of the sheltered accommodation residents have been particularly affected by the lockdown restrictions so we hope they enjoyed their treats.
